October 4 - 2003 - Battleship Texas SHS - Battle Stations 1944
- This living history event features over 50 re-enactors interpreting sailors and marines preparing for the D-Day Invasion of June 6, 1944 while underway aboard the Battleship TEXAS. The living historians wear authentic WWII era uniforms, and perform numerous battle station drills, weaponry skills, and other demonstrations. Army and allied forces will also be represented on shore near the ship. 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; fees $5 adults, $4 senior citizens, $3 children 18 and under (281) 479-2431.
